My Name is Vicki Lynn Piha...and I Am Soooo Big! When Morrie first approached us about these books, he suggested a Dr. Seuss style for Vicki’s book. After
hearing the childhood proclamation that became the title, there was no question that it was the right choice. Lou Patnode did the amazing illustrations.

Sandy-Poo Turns 30 When Morrie explained that Sandy had quite an independent streak as a child, Lou suggested the nod to the Simpsons.
He did a quick sketch of the family and Morrie was sold.

The Story of Ricca Piha...That’s Ricca with Two C’s! Ricca teaches grade school and the Madeline books are well known to her and to her students, so this was an obvious choice. Again, that’s
Lou Patnode’s amazing hand at work. There's quite a difference between the Morries of the first two books and this one. That’s because Morrie decided to be depicted as if her were played by Steven Seagal.

From the Commissioner Himself:
“Ken was recommended to me when I needed help to write a poem for my wife on her 50th birthday.
He placed my thoughts and ideas into a remarkable, inspiring, and funny poem. I took the credit for this incredible poem, but the poem was so great
that Marlene realized that someone must have written it for me. A few years later I had a wonderful idea of giving my 3 children a gift on their
30th birthdays, that they would remember for life and share with their children. I called Ken, who has now written all 3 of these ‘children’s’
books. One was based on Dr. Seuss, one on the Simpsons, and one on Madeline. These books are part of our lives, and it is hard to express into words
how much these books mean to our children. I know that they will share them with their children and hopefully their children’s children.
“Ken’s talents, including the importance of scheduling, availability, make him an outstanding professional
in his field.
“Ken, thank you for all you have done for myself, Marlene, and our family.
“Best wishes.”
